Council is inviting Selwyn communities to provide feedback on its draft Sport, Active Recreation and Play, Spaces and Places Plan. The plan has been developed to ensure Selwyn District has the appropriate spaces and places to support these activities over the next 10 years.
Council has collaborated with local clubs, organisations and educators (particularly those experiencing growth and capacity demand) to develop the draft plan, and is now seeking feedback from the wider community.
The key findings from investigations carried out so far, as well as the proposed actions and priorities to address these findings, are outlined in the consultation document.
Feedback on the draft plan is open until 5pm, Friday 9 December 2022.
