Consultation has concluded
The Council is inviting Selwyn communities to provide feedback on what’s important to them when thinking about future of Selwyn’s parks. We want to hear from our residents:
what they value the most about Selwyn’s parks
how could the parks be improved so they would use them more
what they think the issues and opportunities are across Selwyn’s parks network or any of the listed 29 highly-used or larger parks.
This consultation is the first step in developing the new Selwyn District Parks Management Plan. This overarching plan will help the Council make consistent and quality day-to-day decisions about how parks are used and managed. It will also give guidance on what needs to be considered when developing and enhancing parks in the future.
The consultation will run in two stages:
Stage one (now): initial consultation on what we should consider in a draft plan
Stage two (early 2022): consultation on the draft plan.
The consultation is open until 5pm, Wednesday 8 December 2021.
