Increase both the volumetric water rate and annual fixed rate by the same proportion

Impact on rates

Increase the metered water rate from $0.50 per cubic metre to $0.60 per cubic metre, from July 2022. The base rate will increase from $254 to $307 per year. The rate per water unit for restricted supplies will also increase from $183 to $221 over two years. This means a 21% increase over two years.
