This survey is for families who attend any of the 32 schools in the Selwyn district.
The Council and your school are working together to develop or update their School Travel Plan. This plan aims to:
improve the safety of school travel
reduce the level of congestion at the school gates
encourage more walking, cycling and scooting to and from school
improve the health and well-being of our tamariki.
The information gained from the survey will help identify what should be included in your school's travel plan that addresses the needs and concerns of the school community.
It shouldn't take you more than 10 minutes to complete the survey. Your responses will be kept confidential between the school and the Council's Road Safety Team.
By filling in the survey, you could win one of five child or two family passes for the Selwyn Aquatic Centre.
The survey will be open until 11.59pm, Monday 5 June 2023.
