The Selwyn Dog Training Club has applied to vary its lease at Foster Dog Park, to allow the club to train on an additional night – Monday nights 6.30-9pm.

The club leases a section of the Foster Dog Park for training purposes. This is a fenced area that is closed off from public use during training times – except to allow access to the dog wash and the toilets.

The club’s existing lease allows for training on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday nights 6.30-9pm and for two hours on Sunday morning. The club is seeking an additional night of training to spread out the number of those attending each night to allow trainers to better manage classes and improve parking in and around the dog park.

Council is inviting feedback from the dog park users and neighbouring properties on the application to vary the terms of the lease. You can send your feedback by completing this online feedback form.

Feedback is open until 5pm, Friday 2 June 2023.
