The Council is proposing some amendments to the current bylaws which manage discharges of all trade wastes and wastewater into the wastewater system.
The main proposed changes are:
to simplify the way low risk premises are charged for trade waste discharges
who can work on drains
to simplify the system for ‘common drains’ (private drains with multiple connections).
