    We’d like you to think about 4 areas that may affect or enhance your sense of well-being in the future of Selwyn. 

    Which one of the following is the highest priority for you in the Selwyn of the future? And why?

    • Environmental well-being: 
      • A natural environment that supports healthy community life such as air quality, fresh water, uncontaminated land and control of pollution.
    • Social well-being: 
      • The ability of all members of a community to set goals and achieve them on areas such as education, health, the strength of community networks, financial and personal security, equity of opportunity, rights and freedoms.
    • Cultural well-being: 
      • The shared beliefs, values, customs, behaviours and identities that make up our communities.
    • Economic well-being: 
      • An economy that can generate the employment and wealth necessary to provide many of the requirements that make for social wellbeing such as health, financial security and equality of opportunity.
